Applicant Eligibility

But according to the requirements for registration of other educational institutions like National University, we can have a general idea of requirements even before the notice is published.

In general, you must need to be an SSC candidate 2022 to be able to register for the vaccine. Though the age limit can be reduced later and more students of junior classes can come under vaccination, only the SSC students will be eligible for the vaccine this time.

Required Documents for Registration

SSC students covid vaccine registration is an online process, as we have mentioned earlier. You don’t need to compile tons of paper documents for the registration. But you cant complete the registration without any document either. Here is a list of documents that you might need during registration. Covid Vaccine Registration Process for SSC Students

Follow these steps to be able to register for the vaccine successfully. You just need a smartphone or computer with an active internet connection to do as directed in the post. Make sure you are making no mistakes during registration. Remember, the process can vary depending on the actual notice.

• Go to https://surokkha.gov.bd.
• The home page of the Surokkha website will open. You will find all necessary tabs and icons on the home page. To register for the vaccine, you need to click on the Register tab located at the top of the page.
• A new page will open. You need to enter your National Identity Number/Birth Certificate Number/SSC Registration Number in the text box. Select your date of birth in the next box. Click Next to fetch your information from the server.
• On the next page, you will see some of your information is showed in a gray color that you cant edit. You just need to fill up other available text boxes.
• Select the profession from a drop-down list. You should choose the SSC Students option from there.
• The next section is to check whether you have hypertension, diabetes, or co-morbidity. If you have any of these, you need to select the Yes button in respective cases. If you don’t have any of these diseases, you need to select the No option in every case.
• Then you need to select the vaccination center. You can select the center according to your convenient accommodation. It isn’t essential to select your permanent address. From the drop-down boxes, you can select the Division, District, Upazilla, Union or Ward, Area, Vaccination Center, etc.
• Once everything is complete, you need to provide a valid mobile number. Without verifying your mobile number, the registration won’t be complete.
• You will get an OTP on your mobile. Write it down and then click on the Submit button.

How to Print SSC Covid Vaccine Registration Card?

Once you have successfully completed the registration, you can go to the Vaccine Card option on the official website. From there, you can follow these steps to have your vaccine card ready.

• Select Vaccine Card Download option.
• Enter your National Identity Number/SSC Registration Number/Birth Certificate Number and your date of birth. You will get an OTP on your mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and click Verify.
• Once your registration is verified, you will get the vaccine card ready for download.
• Click Download Vaccine Card to download the card in PDF format.

You need to print a copy of the vaccine card and take it with you to the vaccination center for taking both doses. Without a vaccine card, you won’t be able to take the vaccine.

Registration Confirmation SMS

After your registration on the Surokkha website is complete, you will get a confirmation SMS on the mobile number you have given previously during registration. This will ensure your registration. You can also manually verify the registration status on the website.

Keep the mobile number active and within your reach because all further communication about the vaccination date and time will be notified on this mobile number.

How to Get a Covid Vaccine?

Getting the Covid vaccine is the only physical step in this whole process. After successful registration, you will get a confirmation SMS. Later, you will be notified about the vaccination date and center through SMS on the same mobile number.

After you receive the SMS, you need to go to the vaccination center in person on the due date along with the vaccine card you have previously downloaded and printed. You need to go to the vaccination center twice to take two doses of the vaccine.

Where Will Be Vaccine Given?

During registration, you have the option to choose where you want to take the vaccine. It can either be your permanent address or the place you live in now. There is no hard and fast rule that you have to take the vaccine at your permanent address.

But once you have selected a vaccination center, you can’t change the center. For example, if your permanent address is in Chattogram but you have opted to take the vaccine in Dhaka, you have to go to a certain vaccination center in Dhaka to take the vaccine. So, choose your preferred vaccination center carefully depending on your location.

Covid Vaccine Second Dose

You might already know, two doses of vaccine should be taken to build a proper immunity against coronavirus. After you have taken the first dose of the vaccine, you will be eligible for the second dose within 8 weeks.

You will be notified through SMS again to take the second dose of the vaccine. Then you can go to the vaccination center along with the vaccine card and take the second dose in the same way you took the first dose.

Covid Vaccine Certificate Download

After you are done taking two doses of the vaccine, you can download the vaccine certificate from the Surokkha website. This vaccine card will help you go abroad and even move inside the country freely. Remember, this isn’t the vaccine card you have previously downloaded.

The vaccine certificate will only be available under the Vaccine Card tab after your vaccination information is updated on the website. Then you can verify yourself by putting in the Registration Number and OTP. Once the vaccine certificate is ready, you can simply download the vaccine card and print a copy of it for further use.
