RUET Admission Circular 2025 – Notice, Eligibility & Apply

The RUET Admission Circular 2025 for the 2024-2025 academic session has been published. RUET is inviting applications for both Group A (B.Sc. Engineering and BURP) and Group B (B.Sc. Engineering, BURP, and B.Arch.). The primary application period is set from January 4 to January 14, 2025. Eligibility for RUET Admission

Before you begin your application process for RUET admission 2024-2025, it’s important to understand the eligibility criteria. The university has set specific requirements to ensure that only qualified candidates can apply. You must meet these criteria to be considered for admission:

  • Citizenship: You must be a Bangladeshi citizen to apply for RUET admission.
  • SSC or Equivalent: You should have passed your SSC or equivalent examination in either 2021 or 2022 from any Education Board in Bangladesh. The minimum requirement is a GPA of 4.00 (out of 5.00).
  • HSC or Equivalent: You must have passed your HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 from any Education Board in Bangladesh. The requirements here are more specific: You need a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Your total GPA in these four subjects combined should be at least 18.00.

RUET Admission Form Fill Up

Once you’ve confirmed that you meet the eligibility criteria, you can proceed with filling up the RUET admission form. The application period is set from January 4 to 14, 2025. Before you start, you’ll need to verify your minimum eligibility criteria. You’ll also need to confirm your mobile number, which can be either your own or your guardian’s.

  • Go to the official RUET admission website at admission.ruet.ac.bd to fill up your application form.
  • The application process consists of two main steps: a) Filling up the application form b) Paying the application fee
  • You must pay the application fee through Teletalk mobile operator. Your application will be considered invalid if the fee isn’t paid.

RUET Eligible Candidates List

If the number of applicants exceeds 24,000, only the top 24,000 candidates will be eligible for the preliminary (MCQ) test. RUET Admit Card

The RUET admit card serves as your entry pass for the admission tests. Remember, the admission process consists of two stages: the Preliminary (MCQ) Test and the Final (Written) Test. You’ll need separate admit cards for each stage.

RUET MCQ Admission test Admit Card Available from January 25, 2025. Only Eligible candidates from the valid applicant can download this admit card. RUET Written Test Admit Card Available from February 16, 2025. Only candidates who pass the MCQ test can download this admit card. Similar to the MCQ admit card, you’ll need to visit the official website

Downloading Process:

  • Go to the official RUET admission website
  • Look for the ‘Download Admit Card’ option

RUET Admission Result

The RUET MCQ Admission Test will be held on February 8, 2025 for 100 marks. The questions will be related to Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Each question carries 1 mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The RUET MCQ Result will be published on February 13, 2025

The Written Admission Test will be held on February 20, 2025. The subjects are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. Each subject exam will be held for 100 marks, but the English exam will be held for 50 marks. Group B candidates will also have an extra 100-mark test in Architecture.
