Load Shedding Schedule Today
The government has decided to introduce an area-based load-shedding for one to two hours across the country from Tuesday (July 19) in a bid to tackle the ongoing power crisis.
After Held the meeting and Make decision, Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC), which distributes electricity in Dhaka city and surrounding areas, published the schedule of load shedding for different areas.

Area-wise Load Shedding Schedule for Today
The situation is even bleaker outside the capital. The most affected districts are in Mymensingh division, while load shedding has also increased in Chattogram, Sylhet, Rangpur, Thakurgaon, Rajshahi, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat and Dinajpur, Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj, Noakhali, Feni and Chandpur.
There will be one to two hours long load shedding countrywide from tomorrow to reduce energy subsidy, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said today (July 18, 2022).
Here’s Mention, the hour-long load shedding will be carried out initially for about a week. If that duration will not sufficient, authority will increase duration of the load shedding.
