The 46th BCS exam was held a few days ago by bpsc.gov.bd. The BCS MCQ exam took place on the April 26, 2024. Once the BCS MCQ preliminary result date is confirmed by the authority, we will provide an update here. In the meantime, you can view the BCS MCQ exam mark distribution and syllabus.
We have been informed that the authority plans to publish the 46th BCS Result 2024 on May 9, 2024. A special meeting will be held to finalize the results. Following this, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) will publish the results either on the same day or the following day.

The MCQ Exam will be based on a total of ten subjects. The exam will have a total of 200 marks and a duration of 2 hours. The marks distribution for each subject is given below:

46 BCS Written Exam
The 46th BCS Written Exam will start in August 2024. The Written Exam Date and Routine will be found here. Most of the Preli Examinees have started new preparation for the written test. The BCS written exam will be held 1 or 2 months after the MCQ test or Preli result. Examinees who think they will qualify and get good marks in the MCQ test have already started studying for the written test.
Written Exam Mark
1st Paper: 200 Marks | 4 Hours (previously it was 100 marks | 3 Hours)
2nd Paper: 100 Marks | 3 Hours (Previous same)
Viva Voice Exam: Minimum 50% of total Marks (previously it was 40% of total Marks). The Authority took a meeting to reduce the whole BCS Exam System and finalize the candidate list. They also decided that all processes must be completed within 1 year.
